New Delhi, April 27: HCL Technologies, a prominent global technology company, has recently announced its plans to expand its workforce through large-scale campus hiring. For the fiscal year 2025, HCLTech aims to offer jobs to over 10,000 freshers through its campus recruitment drives, indicating the company's desire to attract and develop young talent. Through campus recruitment, HCLTech aims to nurture careers in the tech sector by utilising the skills of new graduates eager to begin their professional careers.
As per a report of ABP Live, HCL Technologies is set to hire over 10,000 freshers from campuses in FY25. This move comes after HCLTech's successful addition of 12,141 freshers in FY24, which played a crucial role in expanding its workforce. With a total headcount reaching 227,481 by the end of Q4, HCLTech is focusing on bringing in new talent and also on growing its current employee base. "In FY24, we started with a target of hiring about 15,000 odd freshers, that was the go-in plan for the year, and we finished with adding more than 12,000," said Ramachandran Sundararajan, Chief People Officer of HCLTech. However, due to the volatility experienced throughout the year, the company had to recalibrate its fresher hiring strategy. In the fourth quarter (Q4) of the fiscal year 2024 (FY24), HCLTech added 3,096 freshers to its workforce. For the entire FY24, the company hired a total of 12,141 freshers. The company's total headcount at the end of Q4 stood at 227,481 employees. Looking ahead to the next fiscal year (FY25), HCLTech plans to hire more than 10,000 freshers. Regarding contract hiring, the company stated that it will focus on meeting the demand through internal resources. The company will only consider contractual hiring when necessary.
