Mumbai, June 3: Rockstar Games has confirmed that the highly anticipated GTA 6, an open-world third-person game will be released in fall 2025. After the massive success of GTA 5 game, fans and enthusiasts expect that the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 game will likely offer realistic graphics, gaming mechanics, new characters and a thrilling story. Before the release of GTA V, Rockstar Games-parent Take-Two Interactive mentioned GTA 7, hinting at the future launch.
According to reports, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick mentioned the name "GTA 7" in one of his recent interviews, stirring up speculation. GTA VI is still a year away from being released to the public. GTA 5 was launched in 2013, and the upcoming GTA 6 will come in the fall of 2025, which makes a total of 12 years of gap. Looking at the release timeline, Rockstar Games has increased its production time for each game since the introduction of Grand Theft Auto III.

The reports said that Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, mentioned the GTA 7 during the recent TD Cowen 52nd Annual Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. The reports said that Strauss Zelnick showed optimism about the Grand Theft Auto franchise and its future. He also highlighted that GTA 6 did not take long to make, but it was likely delayed due to the ongoing projects. Considering this statement, the Rockstar Games studio might not take as long to develop future titles.
