As per reports, the feature is now available on compatible Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy devices. As per a report of Business Standard, Circle to Search gets support for automatic barcode and QR code scanning. The feature was reportedly first noticed in the beta version of the Google app, specifically version 15.19.45.29.arm64. The feature became fully functional with version 15.25.32. Once enabled, the device will automatically detect and scan barcodes and QR codes when Circle to Search is activated. A chip is said to appear next to the scanned code to provide a URL or a preview that users can click on to access additional information. To use Circle to Search, users need to open a webpage or an image that has a QR code. Then, they can launch Circle to Search by long-pressing the home button or the navigation handle.
