New Delhi, August 31: Tech behemoth Google is preparing to launch the upcoming Pixel 8 series that would comprise of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The flagship smartphone duo from Google is expected to launch by the end of this year.

While Google hasn’t revealed any official details or confirmation on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones, the promotional image of the Google Pixel 8 Pro has been accidentally leaked on Google's promo page for Google Subscriptions & Services. As per reports. The image was promptly removes, but not before a few could spot it. Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8 - Design, Camera & Other Speculated Details

The Google Pixel 8 Pro is said to have been spotted in a Porcelain White colour, namely - Porcelain White colourway, and flaunted a triple rear camera setup. While it looks very similar to its precursor, the Pixel 7 Pro from 2022 it does have some design changes. For instance, all the three sensors seem to be stashed up in a single pill-shaped camera island, unlike its predecessor.

The leaked image also shows the hint of another sensor placed next to the LED flash. Nevertheless, due to the lack of clarity in the image, this detail is not confirmed. In a separate report, it is said that Google might increase the number of OS updates offered on its upcoming new smartphones. The Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are thus, expected to receive 5 years of OS updates. If this report is really true, then Google would be offering really great software support that beats competition.

The upcoming Google Pixel 8 series is also likely to ditch physical SIM card slots and be eSIM- only smartphone. At present, only Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models in the US offer the eSIM-only support.
