Google, the US-based technology giant, has finally launched the new Pixel 4 smartphones at 'Made By Google' event in New York. Apart from the next-generation Pixel 4, the company launched a host of new products that includes PixelBook Go, Pixel Buds, Nest Mini, Nest WiFi and Stadia gaming service. Rick Osterloh kicked-off the launch event by giving the keynote, followed by an insight about Google's new products. The new Pixel 4 smartphones will come in three exciting shades - Just black, Clearly White & limited edition, Oh So Orange. As far as the prices are concerned, the Pixel 4 is priced at $799 whereas the bigger Pixel 4 XL smartphone will cost $899. The customers can pre-order Pixel 4 from today with shipping starting from October 24.
On the specification front, the smaller Pixel 4 gets a 5.7-inch FHD+ OLED Smooth 90Hz display whereas bigger Pixel 4 sports a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ OLED display with 90Hz screen. Under the hood, the phones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset mated with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB internal storage.
For optics, the Pixel 4 devices come equipped with squarish-mounted dual rear cameras comprising of a 12MP and a 16MP shooters along with an 8MP front snapper. The new Pixel 4 brings live HDR+ with dual exposure controls, learning-based white balancing, wider-range portrait mode, Night sight with astrophotography. The Pixel 4 is backed by a 2700 mAh battery whereas the Pixel 4 XL comes packed with a 3700 mAh. Google Pixel 4 phones are offered in two storage options - 64GB & 128GB. On the other hand, the new Pixel Buds comes with five hours of continuous listening time on a single charge. It also offers up to 24 hours of listening by using wireless charging. The customers can get their hands on the new Pixel Buds from 2020 onwards, which is priced at $179.
Google also announced PixelBook Go, which now comes with a new attractive and easily grippable design. Additionally, the new PixelBook is 13mm thinner than the previous PixelBook. Lighter by 2lbs than the previous model, the PixelBook Go offers up to 12 hours of battery life. It will be seen in two shades - Just Black and Not Pink. Priced at $649, it comes with Intel Core m3, i5 or i7, 8GB or 16GB of RAM, 64GB, 128GB or 256GB SSD.
Moreover, Google also launched Nest Mini and Nest WiFi at a price point of $49 and $269 respectively. The customers can pre-order Nest Mini from today onwards with shipping starting from October 22. On the other hand, Nest WiFi will be shipped beginning November 4.
