Google, the American tech giant entered into the mid-range affordable smartphone with the launch of Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL devices in the global as well as domestic markets. Pitted against the likes of OnePlus 7 Series and Asus 6Z, both the devices carry similar design scheme as that of the flagship offerings that were launched earlier last year. Targeted for the emerging markets like India, Google Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL were priced at Rs 39,999 and Rs 44,999 respectively that made it look slightly expensive than the rivals. Taking this into consideration, the company has now partnered with Flipkart to offer some exciting deal on the duo. To attract more customers, the devices are listed online on the e-commerce with an instant discount of Rs 4,000 as a part of bank offer for prepaid transactions. With this special offer, the price for the smartphones has been reduced to Rs 35,999 and Rs 40,990 for Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL respectively.
On the specification front, Pixel 3a gets a slightly smaller FHD+ gOLED display screen of a 5.6-inch with resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixel and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the Pixel 3a XL gets a bigger 6-inch FHD+ gOLED display with 2160x1080p resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 670 octa-core chipset from Qualcomm which is clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal space.
In the camera department, both the smartphones come with 12.2MP dual pixel Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, which is also seen on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices. At the front, there is an 8MP sensor straightaway lifted from the flagship phones. The smartphones are backed by a 3000 mAh and 3700 mAh batteries with 18W charger.
