The teaser video features Google’s Active Edge feature, which was introduced earlier in the Pixel 2 series. The video hints that the feature could be retained in the upcoming Pixel 3 devices. The Active Edge feature allows the user to activate or open Google’s AI assistant with a squeeze from the sides. This feature is not something new, since it was first seen on the HTC U11 smartphone. While, the 40-second video shows how the sensation of the squeeze is relevant in our daily lives, it also hints at the device’s colour variants. Coming to the specifications of the Pixel 3 series - Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL, the smartphones are expected to have a larger display size compared to its predecessors. The phones are likely to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Also, Google Pixel 3 and 3XL devices might come with its latest Android Pie OS, because it has already been introduced in the Pixel 2 phones. However, the cameras on the Pixel 3 smartphones this time may get dual lens at the front, while at the rear, it could incorporate single lens.
