Google Event 2018: Google has launched a range of new products at the hardware event 2018 which includes Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Home Hub and Pixel Slate.

Google, a popular tech giant officially launched slew of new products at the hardware event 2018 on Tuesday. The company rolled out third generation Pixel devices along with innovative products such as Home Hub 2018 and Pixel Slate. Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones are available for pre-orders via google store, which are priced from $799. On the other hand, Google HomeHub will be made available for purchasing by October 22. However, Google Pixel Slate will go on sale later this year in US, UK and Canada. Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL: The third generation Pixel smartphones has been launched in the global market. With prices starting from $799, the Pixel 3 phones is offered in 3 colours - Just Black, Clearly White and Not Pink. Under the hood, both the devices are packed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC that comes mated to a 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB ROM (Non-expandable). Running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, the new Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL handsets are backed by 2915 mAh and 3430 mAh batteries respectively with wireless charging. Google Pixel Slate: With an aim to provide modern computing experience to customers, Google introduced new Google Pixel Slate that comes with a slim design featuring midnight blue shade. Packed with a bright display with 293 ppi, the tablet uses a low custom polycrystal technology. The company has also introduced YouTube TV with Pixel Slate as well as Pixelbook which includes sports and music books. The tablet features 8MP cameras at both the ends which also supports Portrait mode. However, the front camera is a wide angle lens for incorporating more details while video calling.

Another highlight of the tablet is the Split screen that is integrated for smooth multitasking and Google Assistant. For safety, the tablet also includes built-in virus protection and Family link. Launched with a starting price of $599, the Google Pixel Slate will be made available for purchase later this year in US, UK and Canada stores. Moreover, Pixel Slate keyword is priced at $199 and Google Pixelbook Pen is priced at $99.

Google Home Hub: Google says Google Home Hub is particularly design for the home and it gets redesigned search in Photos, Maps, YouTube and Calendar, which can be controlled with the user's voice. Employing custom fabrics, the company has offered Home Hub in four colour options. The device can easily respond to the ambient light in the room which will gradually shift to the colour depending on the lights, thanks to Ambient EQ feature. It also comes with 6 months subscription of YouTube Premium.

The company also brings HomeView, Home App and Live Albums that automatically updates every time a user captures new image. Launched at $149, the new Google Home Hub is available for pre-orders via google store. It will go on sale on October 22 in the markets like US, UK and Australia.
