Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3XL Launch Likely in October 2018; New Leaked Images Confirms Notch on Pixel 3XL

Google, a popular tech giant is reportedly believed to be working on the new Pixel line-up which is expected to sport edge-to-edge display. The new range of Pixel smartphones will be introduced to challenge Apple's new generation iPhone. Expected to be launched in October this year, the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL smartphones are expected to carry all-new design language. It is also reported that the bigger Pixel 3XL is expected to get edge-to-edge display design to rival with Apple iPhone X. Moreover, it is also speculated that the Pixel 3 XL will sport a thicker bezel at the bottom retaining a chin similar to the likes of OnePlus 6, Xiaomi's Mi MIX 2S and Huawei P20 Pro.

The new Pixel 3XL too will follow on the footsteps of several other smartphones launched in the last few months, as it will also sport a notch on the display. Recently, a leaked image emerged on the internet claiming to be screen protector for Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL that gave a glimpse about the device decision to be seen on the upcoming smartphones from Google.

Coming to Pixel, the smartphone is expected to carry a similar design as that of its predecessor skipping edge-to-edge screen and display notch. It is speculated that the company could announce the new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL post Apple's fall event which is scheduled for September this year. As per the market rumours doing rounds in the market, it is said that the company is currently in talks with Foxconn for building its 2018 Pixel phones. In the year 2016, both the devices were built by HTC whereas the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL were built by HTC and LG respectively in the year 2017.

Another interesting detail revealed by the report is that Google will be sticking to a single rear camera module while the dual camera setup has become quite prominent on even a budget end smartphone. However, Google might add up dual cameras upfront inside the notch. Expect more details coming out in the market about both the smartphones.
