New Delhi, July 29: Google has introduced its cross-device services for Android users, which include features like Call Casting and Internet Sharing. According to reports, the cross-device features is currently being introduced to Android users. The features will be accessible through an update and once the update is available, users will notice a new option called "Cross-device services" in their device settings. Cross-device services work only if both devices are signed into the same Google account and have Bluetooth turned on.

As per a report of Times of India, Google is rolling out a cross-device sharing feature to Android devices running Android 11 and newer versions. The rollout is in its beta phase and is currently limited to certain apps. One of the main highlights is the Call Casting feature, which enables users to transfer ongoing calls between different Android devices. When a user turn on cross-device services for two or more Android devices that share the same Google Account, these devices can recognise each other when they are close by. How to Enable Cross-Device Services

To enable cross-device services on your Android device, follow these steps:

  • Open Settings on your Android device

  • Tap on Google

  • Select Devices & Sharing

  • Tap on Cross-device services

  • Turn on use Cross-device services

Android users should turn on Bluetooth on both devices and make sure they are logged into the same Google Account. It will allow the devices to recognise each other when they are close by.
