Along with purchasing AC, he took 2 years of extended warranty from Flipkart for INR 2,299 which was handled by the platform's service partner JEEVES. Ashok Mor admitted that the AC worked fine due to regular service provided by authorised Whirlpool technicians. He pointed out that the issue started happening on July 24 2024 when he called the technician for wet work.

After servicing the air conditioner, the technician advised the family to turn it on after four hours. They turned it on after six hours but they witnessed that the MCB tripped. Ashok Mor said he and his family waited for half an hour and tried it again but the indoor unit showed an error "E6". He pointed out that the local technician came and informed him about the Whirlpool technician messing the AC up and the water was seeped into the PCB.

The Whirlpool technician visited saying it would cost around INR 12,000 as the issue was out of warranty, despite Ashok paying for an extended warranty. He said he bought a new AC and after that Jeeves technician visited promising to fix it in 7 to 10 days.
