New Delhi, August 9: Flipkart has reportedly launched its new 10-minute quick commerce service, “Flipkart Minutes,” in Bengaluru, marking its entry into the fast-paced quick-delivery market. It places Flipkart in direct competition with other popular services like Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto. The introduction of Flipkart Minutes shows the e-commerce giant’s efforts to tap into the growing demand for quick deliveries in urban areas. Flipkart is expected to provide services to customers who need essentials delivered to their doorsteps within 10 minutes.
As per a report of Business Standard, Flipkart’s 10-minute quick commerce service, “Minutes,” has officially began operating in Bengaluru and is expected to soon start in other cities. The service is to provide fast deliveries, covering a range of products from groceries to daily essentials. Flipkart Minutes is likely to distinguish itself by using its logistics network to make timely deliveries and meet the rising demand for rapid services in metropolitan areas. As per multiple reports, Flipkart Minutes is now giving free deliveries for orders above INR 99, with a small platform fee of INR 5. The service reportedly let customers to cancel or reject the order at the doorstep if they are unhappy with the product. Several reports suggest Amazon is enhancing its same-day delivery for Prime members. They might also enter quick commerce by possibly acquiring a stake in Swiggy.
