Oppo, a popular Chinese smartphone maker has appointed Brazil Football sensation Neymar as an Oppo Friend wherein the footballer will be endorsing brand’s mobile phones during the FIFA World Cup 2018. The extravagant contest of the year 2018 is all set to commence today at 8.30 IST when Russia and Saudi Arabia will clash against each other. Previously, the company also engaged with the footballer for promoting Oppo FC Barcelona edition smartphone. The Chinese smartphone maker has been promoting the Artificial Intelligence 2.0 feature on the 25MP front camera on the Oppo F7 smartphone that is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor. The Artificial Intelligence 2.0 feature on the smartphone sports 296 facial touch points and AI reportedly recognizes facial structures and shapes according to the global database. Launched as a successor to F5, the new Oppo F7 smartphone comes with a Super full-screen display with a notch on the display. The smartphone competes against the likes of Vivo V9 and other products in the same segment.
Featuring a notch at the top, the smartphone comes fitted with a 6.23-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with resolution of 2280x1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19:9. Coming to the camera department, the smartphone comes with a 16MP primary camera at the rear with with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. It also gets 25MP sensor upfront for selfies and video calling including AI Beauty feature. Running on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, the handset is packed with a 3400mAh battery.
FIFA World Cup 2018 will start from today onwards which promises action packed drama for all the football fans across the globe. With 32 teams participating in the contest, FIFA WC2018 is scheduled to be hosted across 12 venues of the hosting nation – Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018.
