Mumbai, August 22: The Covid-19 epidemic brought in a new culture of working from home, first forcibly and later voluntarily for others. Employers were forced to permit remote work in order to protect their workforce. Nonetheless, a number of firms have implemented working from office policies in the last 12 months or so. Among them is Meta, which has a three-day rule for working from the office. It appears that workers are disobeying that regulation, nevertheless.

Goler advised staff members to adhere to the work from office policy and issued a warning to anyone who might consider doing otherwise. Not that Meta is forcing everyone to report to work. The organisation employs "remote" employees, who are instructed to avoid going into the office for more than four days every two months, according to reports.
