- Taking the full responsibility of the scandal, Mark Zuckerberg stated in his statement that, he was 'sorry' for ensuring broad enough view regarding their platform being used for circulating face News. And, was becoming a tool for foreign interference in elections.

- Mark Zuckerberg further specified that about 20,000 people within the company will be employed for security review via AI tools by the end of this year. The company will work against the creation of fake profiles, active bots and Russian influence.
