Employees have reportedly been informed that they will be relocated to offices in San Jose or Palo Alto.
As per a report of Fortune, X, formerly known as Twitter, announced that its global headquarters in San Francisco will close in two weeks, on September 13, which falls on Friday the 13th. This date is often associated with superstition. X's headquarters is anticipated to relocate to Texas, where other companies owned by Musk, like Tesla, SpaceX, and the Boring Company, are also located. Additionally, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law that prevents schools from requiring employees to inform parents if students wish to use names or pronouns different from those on their birth certificates.
