According to reports, the tech billionaire previously stated that operating in San Francisco has become impossible. Employees have reportedly been informed that they will be relocated to offices in San Jose or Palo Alto.

As per a report of Fortune, X, formerly known as Twitter, announced that its global headquarters in San Francisco will close in two weeks, on September 13, which falls on Friday the 13th. This date is often associated with superstition. Elon Musk stated that operating in San Francisco has become increasingly difficult for companies processing payments. It is impossible to operate in San Francisco if you’re processing payments.”

Additionally, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law that prevents schools from requiring employees to inform parents if students wish to use names or pronouns different from those on their birth certificates.
