Elon Musk refuted the reports that said that he planned to colonise Mars and volunteered his own sperm for the cause. He shared laughing emoji on X and posted, "I have not for what it's worth volunteered my sperm".
New York, July 12: Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX , took on X and denied the allegations about volunteering his own sperm to start the colony on Mars. Elon Musk previously said that his mission was to send people to Mars around 2029. However, Elon Musk is often surrounded by controversies, whether about his announcement over fighting with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg or people calling him an alien from outer space.
Several reports recently said that Elon Musk volunteered his sperm to seed the colony on Mars. The tech billionaire has been candid with his thoughts of colonising Mars; however, the reports said that to do so, he decided to volunteer his own sperm. Elon Musk encouraged people to produce more babies due to the underpopulation of the Earth. He has had three wives in the past and has 12 children now. A user called "Richard Harris" posted that the NYT (The New York Times) reported about the tech billionaire's plan to colonise Mars and cited that the report also mentioned him having one million people living on the red planet. The report also said it would happen in the next twenty years, and Elon Musk had volunteered his sperm. Replying to his, Elon Musk said, "Best to hear it in the words I have used in many interviews over the years." He said he had not volunteered his sperm for the cause. The SpaceX CEO further mentioned that no one working at his space company had been directed to work on a Mars city. He said he told the people who asked to "focus on getting there first". According to a report by Fortune, Elon Musk, in April 2024, had told his SpaceX employees to be there in 20 years and one million people would live in a Martian city.
