OnePlus launched its current flagship smartphone – OnePlus 6 in India earlier this year that saw an overwhelming response from the Indian audience. Now, the company is gearing up for the launch of OnePlus 6T, which is believed to be around the corner. Though, there is no official confirmation from the company yet. Also, being a premium device, discounts on the smartphone is a very rare sight. However, this is about to change with upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival sale. According to the market reports, the OnePlus 6 device will be sold at a discount of Rs 5000 during the 5 days of the sale. As the Amazon’s Great Indian festival sale will commence on October 10, the smartphone will be made available at Rs 29,999 on Amazon India website. As a reminder, the prices for the OnePlus 6 in India starts from Rs 34,999. Moreover, the discount of Rs 5000 will be offered on the base variant of the smartphone that comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, there is no official word from the company if similar discount will be offered on other variants of OnePlus 6 with 128GB and 256GB of storage.

On the specification front, the new OnePlus 6 comes with high-end hardware specs such as 845 Snapdragon, up to 8GB of RAM, AMOLED display screen with a notch and much more. Also, OnePlus will be launching the new OnePlus 6T device this month that is speculated to cost around Rs 36,000. On the software front, the smartphone is one of the models that run the latest version of OS – Android Pie. As far as the discount is concerned, it is believed that Amazon will be offering flat discount on the OnePlus 6. However, more details will be revealed once the sale goes live on October 10. We also speculate some additional discounts on OnePlus 6 in coming weeks.
