New Delhi, May 21: OpenAI has introduced a new feature on ChatGPT called the temporary chat mode, which will offer its users a more private chatting experience for free and paid ChatGPT users. By introducing the ChatGPT temporary chat mode, OpenAI is expected to provide its users with a more secure and private chatting experience to improve confidentiality and privacy in their interactions with ChatGPT. 

As per a report of Indian Express, OpenAI introduces a temporary chat mode on ChatGPT. The new feature will likely allow ChatGPT users to have conversations on sensitive topics or discussions they prefer not to be recorded. The ChatGPT temporary chat mode ensures that conversations in this mode are not saved in the chat history to provide a private way to interact with ChatGPT. Once a temporary chat session concludes, the chat history will be automatically deleted. OpenAI might also not use the information to train the model. However, for safety reasons, OpenAI may retain a duplicate of the chat for a maximum of 30 days, as per a report of Times Now. 

How to Use ChatGPT Temporary Chat Mode?

To use the temporary chat feature, the process is simple for desktop and Android users. When using the desktop version, locate and click on the "ChatGPT" label positioned in the top left corner of the interface. Android users can access the temporary chat mode of ChatGPT by tapping on the hamburger menu icon situated in the top right corner of the screen, a menu will appear.
