Asus India will be launching two new budget smartphones - Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 in India today.

Amplifying its product portfolio in the mid-range smartphone segment, Asus India will be launching two new smartphones today in India. Christened as Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2, the former is the successor to Zenfone Max Pro M1 and the latter will be replacing Zenfone Max M1. The company will be launching the smartphones on December 11, which is slated to commence at 12.30 PM IST. The main highlights of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 are 6.3-inch FHD+ display, dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 660 SoC and a 5000mAh battery. While, the main underlines of Zenfone Max M2  are 6.3-inch display with 19:9 aspect ratio, dual rear cameras, 4000mAh battery and Snapdragon 632 SoC under-the-hood.

As far as the prices are concerned, the company will be revealing the prices for Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 today in India. We speculate that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 could be priced at Rs 20000 while Zenfone Max M2 might see a price tag of Rs 14000.

On the other hand, the new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes packed with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, the phone is powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 660 SoC. Running stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box, the smartphone gets dual rear camera module with 12MP and 5MP sensors. It comes powered by a massive 5000mAh battery.

On the other hand, the new Asus Zenfone Max M2 sports a 6.3-inch HD+ display panel with resolution of 1520×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the skin, the phone packs a Qualcomm Octa-Core Snapdragon 632 chipset. For photography, the phone will be equipped with dual camera sensors with 13MP primary sensor with a 2MP secondary sensor. Running stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) out of the box, the phone packs a 4000 mAh battery.
