Asus, a Taiwanese smartphone maker has started sending out media invitations for the upcoming launch event which is slated to happen on October 17 in New Delhi. The company hasn't revealed much details about the product in the invitation and there is not much clarity on the same either. Considering the several rumours doing round in the market, the company is expected to unveil two new smartphones at the event. Ever since the launch of Zenfone Max Pro M1, the smartphone has been a huge success for the company as it is the first stock Android product. Several rumours hint that Asus is focusing on the successor of the smartphone had already hit the surface. Prior launching the successor of Zenfone Max Pro M1, the company could launch two new models, likewise Redmi 6 series.
Recently, new Asus Zenfone Max M2 and Zenfone Max Pro M2 devices were spotted in certification listing of Eurasian Economic Commission in Russia. Listed with model number ZB633KL and ZB631KL respectively, the certification revealed that the devices run Android 8.0 Oreo OS. As a reminder, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone was launched in the country earlier this year in April 2018. The entry level variant - 3GB/32GB is priced at Rs 10,999 whereas the bigger 4GB/64GB version costs Rs 12,999. On the other hand, the top-end variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory is priced at Rs 14,999.
