The recently launched Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone is offered in 2 variants depending on the RAM and internal storage space offered - 3GB RAM/ 32GB & 4GB RAM/64GB.
The new Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone was launched in the country last month with a starting price of Rs. 10,999. Introduced as a challenger to Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 handset will go on sale today at 12pm IST exclusively via Flipkart. As a reminder, it is the first device under the strategic alliance between Asus and Flipkart intended for meeting the needs of the Indian consumers.
Coming to the specifications, the newest entrant in the budget smartphone space from Asus' stable comes with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display panel with 2160 x 1080 pixels of resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, it is the same chipset which is also used on its arch rival - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 handset is available for purchase in two variants - 3GB of RAM/32GB of internal storage and a 4GB of RAM/64GB of onboard storage. For optics, the recently launched Zenphone Max Pro M1 device is equipped with vertical rear dual camera which is now seen on many smartphones in the space. The camera module features 13MP primary sensor along with 5MP secondary sensor designed to provide bokeh effect in the portrait images. At the front, the smartphone comes fitted with an 8MP sensor with dedicated LED flash for selfies and video calling.
As far as the prices are concerned, the entry level variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,999 while the other variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity is priced at Rs. 12,999. The main underline of the smartphone is its huge battery backup which is 5000 mAh. The device runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo which makes it the first smartphone product from Asus to skip own Zen UI. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 also received face unlock feature with the new software update.
