It was at the launch of Zenfone 5z where Asus India confirmed the sale date for the 6GB RAM variant of ZenFone Max Pro M1. As a reminder, the Taiwanese smartphone maker launched the smartphone in India earlier this year in April with two variant options. The entry level variant with 3GB/32GB storage is priced at Rs 10,999 whereas the 4GB RAM/64GB version is available at a price point of Rs 12,999. However, the top-end variant will go on sale in India tomorrow at 12 pm IST exclusively via Flipkart.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display panel with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor mated with an Adreno 509 GPU along with up to 6GB of RAM. On the storage terms, the handset is already available in two variants - 32GB and 64GB that is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card. The 4G enabled smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Moreover, the smartphone also comes packed with a dual rear camera comprising a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. At the front, the device also features an 8MP shooter up front. The connectivity option on the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS and micro USB. A 5000 mAh high capacity battery backs the smartphone.

On the other hand, Asus Zenfone 5Z is offered in 3 variants - 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB of RAM and inbuilt storage respectively. The lower and mid variants are priced at Rs 29,999 and 32,999 whereas the top-end variant is available at Rs 36,999.
