After launching ZenFone Max Pro M1 in India this April, Asus India has now introduced the high-end variant of the smartphone, which went on sale today exclusively on Flipkart. The bigger 6GB RAM variant of ZenFone Max Pro M1 was announced at the launch of ZenFone 5z. Previously, the company introduced the smartphone in 2 variants - 3GB+32GB & 4GB+64GB, which are priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 12,999 respectively.
The mid-range smartphone from the Taiwanese company is packed with a 5.99-inch FHD+ display panel with aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2160x1080 pixel of resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor that comes configured with an Adreno 509 GPU and up to 6GB of RAM. As far as the storage is concerned, the device is offered with an option of 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage, that is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. Running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, the handset is offered with a dual camera module at the back. The rear cameras constitute a 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary snapper. The front camera is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calling. The connectivity duties on the device are taken care by 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS and micro USB. Talking about the ZenFone 5Z, the flagship smartphone from Asus comes in 3 variants – 64GB, 128GB & 256GB. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, the smartphone gets a starting price of Rs. 32,999 whereas the top end model is available at Rs 36,999.
