With an increasing rivalry in the entry level smartphone space, Asus has silently unveiled a new smartphone, Zenfone Live L2 in the global market. The phone maker is already retailing Zenfone Lite L1 at Rs 4999. The newly unveiled Zenfone Live L2 smartphone will be introduced in the global market as a successor to Zenfone Live L1. It is important to note that the company hasn’t revealed the prices for Zenfone Live L2, which will be pitted against Xiaomi’s Redmi Go. The main underline of the smartphone is the modern gradient design with glossy finish which will be available in two exciting shades – Rocket Red and Cosmic Blue. The phone also features a single rear camera with a small bump. The company has also repositioned the logo, which is now vertically aligned in the centre now. Other specifications on the smartphone remains similar to the previous model.

On the specification front, the Zenfone Lite L2 comes with a 5.5-inch HD+ IPS display that features 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the skin, the new Zenfone Live L2 could be powered by Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 430 chipset which is mated to a 2GB RAM. The smartphone will be offered with up to 32GB of internal storage. The device is backed by 3000 mAh battery.

For photography, the company could be incorporating either a 13MP single rear camera or an 8MP single sensor. At the front, there will be a 5MP senor which could be offered with beauty and several filters. Moreover, the handset will also be seen with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is important to note the company hasn’t announced the availability of the Zenfone Live L2 yet. It is believed that the company might introduce the lower variant of the phone with Android Go to the Indian market. As far as the pricing is concerned, the Zenfone Live L2 will be priced pretty competitively.
