Asus India has officially launched two new Zenfones in the domestic market today. Christened as Zenfone Lite L1 and Zenfone Max M1, the smartphones are priced at Rs 5999 and Rs 7499 respectively. To be retailed online exclusively via Flipkart, the two new smartphones will go on sale during Flipkart's Festive Dhamaka Days along with special bank offers. The Asus Zenfone Lite L1 smartphone comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display featuring resolution of 720x1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the newly launched Zenfone Lite L1 gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset that is mated to 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The smartphone also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via micro SD card.

On the other hand, the Zenfone Max also comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display featuring resolution of 720x1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the smartphone is the same octa-core chipset fitted on Zenfone Lite smartphone. The processor is mated to a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. For photography, both the smartphones get a 13MP rear snapper with better low light image capturing capability. It also get portrait mode, Beauty, HDR, Live filters, time lapse and more. However, the smartphones vary in terms of selfie camera. The Zenfone Lite L1 packs a 5MP shooter with LED flash while Zenfone Max M1 gets an 8MP snapper with LED flash.

Both the devices run on Zen UI 5.0 that is based on Android Oreo. Moreover, the Lite model is backed by a 3000mAh battery whereas the Max model of Zenfone is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery. As far as the competition is concerned, the Asus Zenfone Lite L1 competes against the likes of Redmi 6A, the Zenfone Max M1 goes up against the Redmi 6 and Honor 7A.
