Asus, a popular Taiwanese company unveiled the new Asus Zenfone 5 earlier this year at Mobile World Congress 2018 event. With no price and availability details revealed at the unveiling, the new Asus Zenfone 5 impressed everyone with its design that reminiscent iPhone X. The Taiwan-based company is all set to launch the new Asus Zenfone 5 smartphone in Taiwan and China tomorrow. The smartphone is expected to be launched in the domestic market soon along with several other markets. If the leaked details are to be believed, the new Zenfone 5 will be launched in China tomorrow with a starting price of CNY 2600 which is approximately Rs. 26,000. As per the report from MyDrivers, the phone will go on sale for NT$11,990 and the phone could be priced in the sub-Rs 30,000 bracket for the Indian market.

As far as the technical specs are concerned, the smartphone will be fitted with a Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage capacity expandable through microSD card. However, it is rumored that the 64GB variant will not be introduced in the Indian market. Packed with a 3,000mAh battery, the smartphone will also support Quick Charge 3.0 support via Type C USB. The new Asus Zenfone will flaunt 6.2-inch Super IPS LCD full HD+ display with 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution. To be equipped with dual rear camera, the primary lens will be a 12-megapixel primary sensor from Sony with 1.4micron dual-pixel auto focus along with a wide-angle secondary camera featuring 120 degree of view. Moreover, the company will incorporate an 8-megapixel shooter at the front for selfie lovers. The smartphone will run on the latest Android version of 8.0 Oreo along with new ZenUI skin atop.
