Asus, the Taiwan based smartphone maker officially launched the ROG Phone 3 gaming phone in the Indian market. The smartphone will be available for sale on August 6 via Flipkart. Sale offers has not been revealed by the company yet. The handset is launched as a successor to the ROG Phone 2 mobile. For clicking photographs, the smartphone comes equipped with a triple rear camera module with a 64MP primary camera featuring Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens & a 5MP tertiary shooter. For taking selfies & attending video calls, there is a 24MP front snapper.

The powerful gaming phone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Fuelled by a massive 6,000mAh battery with 30W HyperCharge facility, the mobile device runs on Android 10 based ROG UI operating system. The handset will be offered in two variants - 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage & 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

The new gaming smartphone also comes with a GameCool 3 heat-dissipating system with a redesigned copper 3D vapour chamber, an AeroActive Cooler 3 accessory that has a built-in fan to reduce the surface temperature by up to 4-degree Celsius. Coming to the pricing, Asus ROG Phone 3 is priced at Rs 49,999 for 8GB & 128GB whereas the 12GB & 256GB model will be offered at Rs 57,999.
