Apple iPhone XS Leaked Images Confirm OLED Display & New Gold Colour, Official Launch Likely on September 12

We have already reported that Apple is expected to reveal three new iPhone models at a mega event on September 12. The Cupertino-headquartered company is also expected to announce new Apple Watch Series 2, AirPods 2 and some more products alongside new iPhones at the event. Ahead of the official launch event, a new image has surfaced online featuring two devices with OLED phones, courtesy of 9to5Mac. The leaked images reveal that the new devices are likely to feature 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch display sizes. According to the report from 9to5Mac, the iPhone devices featuring OLED display could be called as iPhone XS. It is also believed that new smartphones from Apple are expected to feature back glass design along with stainless steel frame as the one seen on iPhone X. The media publication also revealed that the new Apple iPhone XS smartphones would also be made available in a new Gold colour option. As a reminder, a Gold colour version of unreleased iPhone X was leaked previously in a document by Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The report further hinted that iPhone XS device would carry edge-to-edge display similar to the one seen on iPhone X. The new 2018 models of iPhones are expected to come with Face ID feature as a safety feature. On the other hand, the upcoming iPhone LCD phone with 6.1-inch LCD will be an affordable model as compared to iPhone XS with OLED. The device will sport a similar design to that of iPhone X. However, it will feature aluminium edges in spite of stainless steel casing. According to the report from Bloomberg, the forthcoming 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could be the most significant phone. The Cupertino technology giant is also rumoured to reveal Watch Series 4, an entry-level MacBook Air, MacBook, Mac Mini, iPads with FaceID, and AirPods 2 alongside iPhone models at the September 12 event. The mega event is scheduled to take place at the Steve Jobs theatre, which was inaugurated last year witnessing the launch of iPhone X.
