Apple, the Cupertino-based iPhone maker is reportedly working on the second-generation iPhone SE, which is likely to be referred as iPhone 9. As per the reports, the company will commence assembling the lower-cost iPhone 9 by next month. A Swedish blog got hold of new render images revealing the probable design of the handset. The render images reveal that the next-gen iPhone SE 2 will carry elements from the older flagship device along with updated Apple design changes. Apple iPhone 12 Design Unveiled; Will Come in Three Size Versions: Report.
These render images clearly suggest that Apple's affordable iPhone will get seemingly realistic design elements. The phone will carry a single camera at the rear whereas there will be a single snapper upfront. Moreover, the camera hump is clearly noticeable at the back, but it goes in-line with the current design trend that the company is following on the flagship iPhones.
As per the Bloomberg's source, Apple is expected to officially reveal the smartphone in March. Interestingly, the assembly will be split between Foxconn, Pegatron Corp and Wistron Corp. The report also highlighted that the new iPhone SE 2 will sport iPhone 8 inspired design featuring a 4.7-inch display, Touch ID home button and A13 Bionic chipset.
Additionally, we have also seen several conflicting reports suggesting the loser cost iPhone 9 will get iPhone 8-alike design without home button or Face ID with a slightly bigger display of 5.4-inch. If this report is to believed, a bigger display on the iPhone SE 2 will make more sense in 2020.
