New Delhi, August 2: Game developers are reportedly expressing their frustrations with Apple Arcade, the gaming subscription platform from Apple. As per reports, many developers are unhappy due to delays in payments and a lack of support from Apple. Reports reveal that developers are feeling neglected to get paid for their work. As Apple Arcade continues to grow, these issues could impact the platform and its relationship with game developers. Delays in payment and lack of incentives for creating Vision Pro games and insufficient communication are said to be some of the primary concerns.

As per a report of Financial Express, developers slam Apple’s gaming platforms amid delays and support issues. They have pointed out that the payment process is slow and often takes much longer than expected. Some developers have waited for months to receive payments for their games. Apple Achieves Record Quarterly Revenue in India, Says Tim Cook.

Another concern is the lack of effective communication and support from Apple. Many developers feel that Apple does not provide the necessary guidance or assistance to help them succeed on Apple Arcade. The lack of support is troubling some developers who rely on such resources. Developers have expressed their dissatisfaction with the technical support provided for Apple's Vision Pro. They have described it as miserable because the device faces difficulties in running complex games and lacks support for integrating important middleware. Apple Responds to Allegations Over Its AI Models, Says Taking Responsible Approach To Train and Improve.

Some developers reportedly expressed that Apple engineers lack understanding of Vision Pro's hardware and software, which hampers their ability to provide crucial assistance. As per a report of 9to5mac, a developer said “it’s a very difficult and long process to sign a deal with Apple these days”. In the early years of the service, it appeared that Apple was more open to approving deals for new titles, but many developers still recognise the financial advantages of collaborating with Apple.
