As per a report of Bloomberg, Annapurna Interactive's entire team resigned after a disagreement between its president, Nathan Gary, and founder, Megan Ellison. The resignation has left partners scrambling as the video game division gained a reputation for publishing unique titles but now finds itself without a team. Gary had been negotiating with Oracle founder Larry Ellison's daughter, Megan Ellison to spin off Annapurna Interactive as an independent entity, but Ellison pulled out of negotiations, leading to Gary's departure.
