Nokia officially rolls out Android 9.0 update to its Nokia 7 Plus devices starting today, which features tons of improved upgrades in terms of cameras, display settings, sound and system stability.
Nokia finally announces a stable update of the latest Android Pie 9.0 OS in its Nokia 7 Plus smartphone. The update has been started to roll out, and many users have already upgraded their system. With new the Andriod OS, Nokia 7 Plus users will be able to experience new features offered by the Android Pie like the improved UI, Adaptive Battery, Google Slices, Digital Wellbeing among others. The update size is about 1471.3 MB, and it advised to have a battery backup of more than 50 percent or to be connected to a charger during the installation. The update takes around 15-20 minutes to update completely. As for features enabled with this update are as follows. With Android 9.0, it provides improvements in various sections of the phone like the display, camera, battery, screen brightness, sound enhancements, privacy and security. The new feature introduced in Android Pie is the Digital Wellbeing, it allows users with options Do Not Disturb (DND), App Dashboard, Wind Down mode and App Timers. Other improvements with the new update are that now, the device will be able to connect up to five Bluetooth devices and switch among them seamlessly. Also, the update comes with HDR and HD Audio support together HEIF that allows photos and videos to be compressed in a much better method without the loss of quality and in turn take very little storage space. Launched in April this year, Nokia 7 Plus sports 6-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 X 1080 at an aspect ratio 18:9. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage expandable up to 256GB via dedicated microSD slot. The phone carries a 3,800mAh battery that supports an 18W, 9V/2A fast charger. On the optics side, a combination of 12MP + 13MP sensors incorporates at the rear, which is set at F1.8 and F2.8 apertures respectively. While, at the front, the phone comes with 16MP selfie shooter set at an aperture of F2.0.
