The Indian streaming market has an estimated 1.4 billion users who get entertainment from Reliance's JioCineme for less than a penny per day. This poses a threat to the business of Amazon's Prime Video streaming service. The report said that Amazon invested heavily in India while cutting back on some other markets. The company continued in India because more people signed up for its Amazon Prime Video services compared to other countries.
