Amazon Prime Day 2018 sale is all set to kick start from 12PM IST today onwards that promises to proffer unmatched 36-hours of exciting offers and lighting deals for the Indian buyers. This is the second edition of Prime Day sale that the e-commerce giant will be hosting in the country. Prior to the commencement of the sale, Amazon India gave glimpse of the offers and deals on products like electronics, smartphones, and much more. According to the landing page, the Prime Day Sale will also bring huge discounts on the products from the categories like clothing, smart devices, home appliances, interiors and much more. Starting from today 1pm IST, the e-commerce giant will also be hosting six different flash sales during the Prime Day sale proffering customers with up to 10 percent cashback or discount on transaction done by HDFC Bank card/ EMI and Amazon Pay. However, it should be noted that these deals will be open exclusively for Prime members only. To keep with Amazon's prime day sale, Flipkart is also scheduled to host a sale starting from today onwards till July 19.

Having said that the sale is exclusive to prime members, the interested buyers can purchase the membership at just Rs. 999 which will include thousands of one-day deals as well as the short-lived Lightning Deals. Moreover, the company is also offering monthly subscription plan at just Rs. 129.

Talking about the exclusive announcements, the first day of Amazon Prime Day sale is expected to witness over 200 new products. The sale will bring exciting deals on the products from the brands such as OnePlus, Sennheiser, WD, Godrej, Cloudwalker, Seagate, Samsung, and others.

The Amazon Prime day sale will also bring price cut on smartphones such as the Moto G5 Plus, Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei P20 Lite, 10.or E, 10.or G, and the InFocus Turbo 5. The sale will also bring-in additional discount on exchange under exchange offer which will be listed for products such as Moto G6, OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Vivo V7+, and the Vivo V9.

As a part of this sale, Honor View 10 will be listed at Rs. 29,999 with an attractive discount of Rs 6,000. Also, the 32GB and 64GB variants of Honor 7C smartphone will be priced at Rs. 9499 and Rs. 11,499 respectively, a discount of Rs. 3,500 on both. Lastly, the interested buyers can purchase the 32GB variant of Honor 7X at Rs. 11,999, whereas the bigger variant with 64GB will cost Rs. 13,999. The e-commerce giant will also be offering up to 80% of discount on accessories such as cases and covers, power banks, screen protectors, data cables and more.

Apart from Prime Day Sale, Amazon India has also announced a quiz for the app users wherein the participants stand a chance to win a brand new OnePlus 6 smartphone. In order to win the prize, the users need to give all the correct answers to the 5 questions and one lucky winner will win the OnePlus 6. The e-commerce giant will also be adding new titles to its catalogue from July 10. The 7 new titles include Dunkirk, 102 Not Out, Comicstaan, Transformers: The Last Knight, and more.
