New Delhi, August 27: Amazon has introduced a new update for its e-commerce platform in India with the launch of an AI-powered conversational shopping assistant named "Rufus." The development is expected to enhance the shopping experience for its customers by integrating advanced AI technology.

The AI shopping assistant, Rufus, might provide personalised assistance to customers to make their online shopping experience more convenient. As per the information available on the official website, the company has announced the beta launch of Rufus in Inda, which is a new generative AI-powered conversational shopping assistant. Rufus will be available in beta for a select group of customers using the Amazon app. Rufus will gradually become available to more people across India.
