Seattle, August 24: Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world with a presence in over 50 countries. The e-commerce giant reportedly employs over 1,53,2000 people globally based on their skills. However, an employee claimed to have earned INR 3 crore by doing "almost nothing" at Amazon. The person said to be engaged in doing simple tasks which made him this much money. 

Nowadays, getting a desired job and a higher salary is difficult and demanding. The people need a valid degree and years of experience to reach a top position and get huge payouts. However, a senior Amazon employee claimed to have earned around INR 3 crore. Senior TPM at Amazon Earned USD 3,70,000 for Doing Small Work

Three days ago, this Amazon employee anonymously posted on Blind platform about how earning this much money within just 1.5 years of joining. The individual, supposedly a male, said he was affected by the Google layoffs which made him land the role of Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon. This job offered him a salary of USD 3,70,000 (around INR 3 crore). 

He expressed that he joined Amazon with the intention of doing "nothing" and getting "free money". Adding to these intentions, the person said he achieved exactly what he set out to do. During his work, which demanded him to be present around 8 hours a week, he admitted to having mostly attended the meetings. 

He shared more details on how he was able to make the company believe he was hardworking. Amazon's TPM boasted, "I owned 0 kingpin goal (Amazon's goal process), resolved 7 tickets, and delivered 1 automated dashboard that I built using chatGPT in 3 days (but said it took 3 months)." 

He said, "My current day-to-day is saying no to other teams wanting to integrate with my team or have them own 95%+ of the integration work." The Technical Program Manager at Amazon said he was not informed about any pip headed his way.
