How Airtel Payments Bank Face Match Feature Works
When the Face Match feature is triggered, users must take a selfie that is compared to the photo taken during their account setup through the Airtel Thanks app. The facial recognition technology includes liveliness checks to ensure the selfie is genuine. If the system confirms a match, the transaction can proceed without any issues. However, if the match fails, users should visit a nearby banking branch for biometric verification. The verification process is expected to prevent unauthorised access and enhance the security of customer accounts.
