Bharti Airtel Limited has announced two new offers for their subscribers, where they can get up to 20 per cent discount on any broadband plans. Users opting for a yearly plan will get a discount of 20 per cent while broadband plans with six months validity are offered 15 per cent discount. The new offer is available across all regions where Airtel services are provided.

Coming to data plans, Airtel currently offers five broadband plans - Rs. 699, Rs. 849, Rs. 1099, Rs. 1799 & Rs. 2199 monthly. Subscribers opting these plans for 6 or 12 months will get a discount of 15 to 20 per cent respectively. Along with the discounts, Bharti Airtel also offers free Amazon Prime subscriptions, data rollover facilities and bonus data of 1000GB on broadband plans above Rs. 699. To be noted, the 1000GB bonus data is only applicable till 31st October 2018. The Airtel broadband plans also provide unlimited local+STD calls, internet speed up to 300Mbps and broadband data up to 1200GB.

The new offers and discounts from Airtel come ahead of the launch of its rival Reliance Jio Fiber, as the company wants to retain its existing customer. The Jio Fiber is reported to offer 100Mbps of broadband connectivity, unlimited voice calls and Jio TV access at a monthly charge of Rs. 1,000. To beat the competition Airtel is offering 300Mbps of Internet speeds and Amazon Prime subscription.

Earlier this month, Airtel announced that it will boost broadband reach in rural India with the help of government's BharatNet infrastructure and claims to offer up to 100Mbps of Internet speeds to these areas.
