New Delhi, October 7: Airtel Business, the B2B arm of Bharti Airtel, has reportedly launched "Airtel Secure Internet" to enhance cybersecurity for businesses. The new service is expected to protect enterprises against online threats by providing a secure internet connection, as well as monitoring and managing traffic for malicious activity. The collaboration will likely address the concerns around data breaches and cyberattacks in India. Companies can expect improved safety measures for their digital infrastructure with "Airtel Secure Internet."
As per a report of CNBC TV18, Airtel Business has partnered with Fortinet to launch “Airtel Secure Internet” to enhance cybersecurity. The service can help enterprises looking to secure their networks against the rising number of cyberattacks. Fortinet’s cybersecurity technology will be integrated with Airtel’s network to enable the solution to provide real-time protection and monitoring. The initiative, created in partnership with the global cybersecurity company Fortinet, is designed to provide complete protection against cyber threats. It offers easy upgrades with advanced technology.
Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business, pointed out that cybersecurity is becoming more complicated. He reportedly mentioned that many organisations do not have the resources to handle it properly. The company provides a solution to enhance security for businesses without requiring a large upfront investment. Vivek Srivastava from Fortinet pointed out that cyber threats are increasing. He reportedly mentioned that the 24/7 monitoring and the SOC-as-a-Service model provided by the solution would help to lower costs for businesses and will also address the lack of cybersecurity skills.
