The recent episode of SmackDown LIVE saw Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella kick-off the show. The weekly World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) show saw the two superstars enter the ring amidst huge pop from the crowd. Bryan called out his opponents – The Miz and Maryse – and challenged them for a fight tonight, rather than waiting for ‘Hell in a Cell’.

However, it is Andrade “Cien” Almas with Zelina Vega who came out and challenged Bryan to finish what began last week. The match was won by Bryan after which Mr and Mrs Miz appeared on the titantron, informing them, and the WWE universe, about their night off.

There was a brief segment of Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch after the opening segment. The women superstars hyped their ‘Hell in a Cell’ SmackDown Championship match. The interviews from both the superstars were taken from different locations so as to avoid any confrontation, as directed by General Manager Paige.

The main event of the night was booked between R-Truth (who was accompanied by Carmella at ringside), and The Miz (who was accompanied by Maryse).
