WWE SmackDown LIVE Highlights & Match Results: Team Hell No, The New Day Shine With Win in 10-Man Tag-Team Main Event!
The last match in the night was an exciting 10-man tag-team contest with The New Day and Team Hell No on one side, while on the other hand, it was SAnitY and The Bludgeon Brothers.
The latest episode of World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) weekly show, SmackDown LIVE, saw an eventful beginning with The Miz and Team Hell No starting the show by hurling verbal volleys at each other. The Miz welcomed the newly-united tag-team of Kane and Daniel Bryan at another instalment of the MizTv. It was Daniel Bryan who got involved in a heated altercation with The Miz, where, surprisingly, Kane was seen trying to calm Bryan’s temper.
In some time, SmackDown Tag-team Champions The Bludgeon Brothers and another tag-team SAnitY came out, much to the crowd’s delight. In no time, a brawl ensued. The Bludgeon Brothers, SAnitY, and The Miz then teamed-up to beat the Team Hell No. However, another tag-team, The New Day marched out to the ring to even the odds. Referees and officials were called out to stop the brawl.
The chaotic opening segment saw SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige announce a ten-man tag-team match as the main event. Next-up watch AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura.
The fans weren’t much amused with both the wrestlers having a go at each other again. Just when things were looking to go dull, Rusev came out. Nakamura and Styles are locked in an exciting battle whose climax is spoiled by Rusev’s interference. It was Jeff Hardy who came out to make the save for Styles. Paige, then, announced a tag-team match between the in-ring competitors, which was eventually won by Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura.
