The latest episode of Monday Night RAW, on October 8, was one of the best events in the year for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The episode saw Triple H and Shawn Michaels reunite and reform the DX, Kurt Angle returned to in-ring action, and so did Trish Stratus and Lita. It was one hell of a night for the fans at Allstate Arena, in Chicago, United States.

The opening segment of Monday Night RAW saw Triple H and Shawn Michaels talking about their loss at WWE Super Show-Down in Australia, this past week. They talked about how they have lost respect for The Undertaker and Kane.

Triple H got the crowd rallying behind him by getting the ‘are you ready’ chant going. Shawn Michaels joined him later, and the crowd went into a tizzy. The duo announced that the DX is back and challenge The Brothers of Destruction (The Undertaker and Kane) at WWE’s event – Crown Jewel – to take place in Saudi Arabia, next month.

Another exciting segment at RAW was between former RAW Women’s champion Alexa Bliss (along with Mickie James) and WWE Hall-of-Fame Trish Stratus.

Bliss and Stratus trash-talked about each other before the verbal duel reaching the threshold. Bliss and James look to double-team on Stratus, and it is just then when another WWE Hall of Famer Lita made her way out. Both Stratus and Lita made a mockery of Bliss and James as they retreated backstage!

There were a lot of other matches that took place in the night. Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens, Ember Moon vs. Nia Jax were amongst those who heard the loudest cheers from the crowd.

Another interesting segment in the night was when RAW Constable Baron Corbin announced a World Cup Global Battle Royal to determine one of the eight contenders to see who the best wrestler in WWE is. There were several enhancing talents in the ring picked up from across the globe. The match began, and one of the enhancing talents went out of the ring beforehand. The last match of Monday Night RAW was between The Shield and the trio of Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. The gruelling contest had a dramatic ending. After The Shield’s loss in the match, Dean Ambrose walked backstage, all by himself. Monday Night RAW went off-air with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns looking hapless in the middle of the ring.
