The latest episode of Monday Night RAW saw Universal Champion Roman Reigns kick-off the show, for which the crowd welcomed him with a ‘you suck’ chant. Reigns laid down an open challenge for his Championship belt and out came Braun Strowman, with his Money in the Bank (MITB) briefcase, to a massive cheer from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Universe!

He talked about how The Shield members intervened last week and saved Reigns. Braun Strowman said that he would be cashing in his MITB contract at WWE pay-per-view (PPV) Hell in a Cell, to be held next month. They shook hands as Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre made their entrance. Soon after, RAW Constable Baron Corbin made his presence felt and confirmed Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell in the traditional Hell in a Cell match.

Corbin continued his rivalry against Finn Balor by winning the match by manipulating the stipulation. The announcers announced that Shawn Michaels would be making an appearance at RAW next week.

In the women’s division, it was Sasha Banks who locked horns with Dana Brooke. After trading holds, Banks secured a comfortable victory after nailing Brooke into the Banks Statement.

Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship was the show stealer. After a gruesome bout, it was Rollins who prevailed over his counterpart and nailed a blackout Stomp for a win.

There were quite a few other matches in the night where the crowd broke out the ‘holy shit’ chant. We take a look at all the events that took place in the night.

After Baron Corbin set-up Strowman vs Reigns Hell in a Cell match, he had also announced the main event pitting the two competitors against Ziggler and McIntyre.

The last match of Monday Night RAW saw The Big Dog begin the match, while it was Ziggler on the other end. The two traded holds and began the fight which ended as very timidly. The fans chanted for Strowman as Reigns was taking care of the business in the middle.

After a gruesome battle, Reigns finally tagged Strowman in the match, who refused to enter the ring after it. Both Ziggler and McIntyre double-team on Reigns as they get disqualified. After the disqualification bell, Strowman joins forces with Ziggler and McIntyre and lashes out at Reigns.

Both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins came out for the save, but are outnumbered and battered eventually. Monday Night RAW went off-air with Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre celebrating in the middle of the ring.
