WWE Monday Night Raw: Seth Rollins Defends Intercontinental Championship; Braun Strowman & Finn Balor Qualify For Money In The Bank 2018 Ladder Match

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Universe, who got a raw deal at WWE’s Pay-Per-View – Backlash, weren’t much amused with the latest episode of Monday Night RAW either. It was RAW General Manager, Kurt Angle, who kicked-off the show announcing that the next PPV – Money In The Bank (MITB) – will feature two Ladder matches; one for men and another one for women, from both the brands, Monday Night RAW & SmackDown LIVE.
Angle signed off after making Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens’ match official – a MITB qualifying match, as the show began. The latest episode took place at Nassau Coliseum in New York, in the United States.
There were several matches in the night which saw the crowd go frenzy at the arena. The Triple Threat MITB Qualifying Match was quite an interesting one, where Sasha Banks, Ruby Riott, and Ember Moon locked horns; it saw the underdog Ember Moon secure a surprise victory, much to the delight of the WWE Universe.
Jinder Mahal was quite desperate to insert himself in the MITB match at the next PPV and requested GM Kurt Angle to put him into a qualifying match quite a number of times; each time, his request being turned down.

The highlight of the night was when Seth Rollins laid out an open challenge for his Intercontinental Title that he defended against The Miz at Backlash, on Sunday. It was Mojo Rawley who accepted the challenged and was unsuccessful in his quest.
The last match in the night saw Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and Finn Balor compete in a MITB Qualifying Triple Threat match wrestle in the main event. The match saw Roman being dominant against his contemporaries initially, in the match.
The match saw an irate Jinder Mahal interfere in the climax of the main event, by disturbing Roman Reigns. However, the gruelling match saw Finn Balor emerge as the winner of the match. So far, Balor along with Braun Strowman are the ones who have qualified for the Men’s MITB match that will be featured in the next WWE PPV – Money In The Bank.
