However, this time, Virat Kohli's fans have created a record for the prolific batsman by forming the world's largest clay diya mosaic of Virat Kohli 's face at the Seawood Grand Central Mall in Nerul, Navi Mumbai ahead of Diwali 2018. The world's largest clay diya mosaic dedicated to Virat Kohli before Diwali is not unfounded. The Indian cricket team captain became the quickest batsman to complete 10,000 runs in One Day Internationals after he scored his 37th ton in the second ODI against West Indies at Visakhapatnam. Kohli broke former cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar's record, who had reached 10K runs in 259 innings. Virat Kohli took 205 innings to reach the milestone. Not only that, by scoring the third consecutive hundred in the third match of the series against West Indies, the 'run machine' Virat Kohli became the only batsman from India to score three hundreds in three innings. India registered a huge victory in the fourth ODI against the carribean to ensure that they do not lose the series after a tie and losing the second and third ODI respectively. India is leading the series 2-1 with the last ODI to be played on Thursday at Thiruvananthapuram. The match will be a do or die game for the West Indies.
