Conor McGregor’s comeback to UFC arena wasn’t as remarkable as he had thought of. Not that he lost his UFC 229 fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov, but the incidents after the match were even more alarming. McGregor lost the match after he tapped-out in the fourth round. However, a brawl took place after the match and the incidents were astounding.

The lightweight title match was marred by a post-fight brawl that took place inside the arena. It was Khabib who jumped out of the Octagon, just after McGregor quit, and started dishing out at the latter’s training partner Bellator welterweight Dillon Danis. While the action outside the Octagon baffled many, two men climbed inside the cage and attacked McGregor.

The security personnel had to separate the two entourages, and were escorted outside the T-Mobile arena by the local police. Looking at the incidents after the fight, UFC President Dana White decided to not to hand over the championship belt due to security reasons. However, le later informed that three of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s members were sent to jail.

White also promised that if any involvement of any contracted fighter is found involved in the incident, they will never be allowed to participate in the promotion again. Conor McGregor, however, decided against to press any charges against the three involved.
