Usain Bolt, the fastest man on earth, can now brag about being the ‘fastest man in space’ as well. The eight-time Olympic champion took a special Airbus Zero G plane to explain how it is like to be in the zero gravity in space. While onboard, Bolt challenged two of his fellow passengers, astronauts, for a foot race. And no surprises, Bolt emerged ‘champion’ in space as well. Bolt emerged faster than French astronaut Jean-Francois Clervoy and CEO of Novespace and French Interior designer Octave de Gaulle.

Meanwhile, following the win, Bolt celebrated in his trademark celebration and opened a bottle of specialised champagne for space. "I was nervous but as soon as the first one (parabola) goes you kind of go 'oh my God, what's happening'. But after the third one I was like 'yeah, it's crazy'," Bolt told Reuters TV. Usain Bolt Debuts as a Footballer for Hyundai A-League Club Central Coast Mariners, Watch Video

"The tourists will be enjoying the view of the earth, the view of space, weightlessness, and they will celebrate. So maybe there is not a market for a lot of bottles in space, but there is a market for some bottles," said Jean-Francois Clervoy.

After retiring from sprinting, Bolt is looking to make a career in the professional football player and is currently with Australian side Central Coast Mariners. In fact, he made his debut for the club recently in a trial match and came in as a substitute.
