Yesterday, the maximum crowd gathered at the Centre Court as Roger Federer took on Serbia's Dusan Lajovic by 6-1, 6-3, 6-4.  His fans who were at the venue were obviously happy with his victory and post winning the game, he thanked his fans by not only waving out to them but also signed a few autographs. Amongst the fans, there was this little girl of Indian origin who caught the attention of the tennis. The little girl held a pluck card which read, “Roger can I have your headband pleeease.”

The tennis ace obviously read the poster and approached the little girl. As requested by the fan, he gave her his headband and the little girl broke into a big smile after he receiving the gift. The gesture invited a loud applause from the audience at the Center court.  Check out the video below.

The girl’s father took to social media to thank the tennis ace for the gesture. He wrote, “That was my daughter who received the headband. She is a MASSIVE fed fan and is absolutely thrilled. Thank you @rogerfederer. She will never forget this moment for the rest of her life. #goat #federer.”

Recently the tennis ace was in the news for signing a 300 million deal with Uniqlo. The brand announced Federer’s signing on their Twitter account. Their tweet read, “UNIQLO is honoured to welcome Roger Federer as our new Global Brand Ambassador!” Federer will turn 37 next month and the brand will look forward to cash in maximum leverage from the tennis ace.
